Shipping & Order Terms
dollop is published in Brooklyn, New York, by Dollop Editions, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Every order is packed and sent by us.
Pricing
Issue One is $35 USD. All prices are in US dollars, and your card is charged at checkout through Stripe.
Shipping is $6 within the United States and $18 for international orders. New York State sales tax is added to orders shipped to addresses in New York. There is no sales tax on orders shipped anywhere else.
Where we ship
We ship to the United States, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Mexico, Argentina, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand
We are not currently able to ship to the European Union. New EU customs requirements introduced in 2026 make direct shipping from the US impractical for a publication of our size. We're working on European stockists instead — if you're in the EU and would like a copy, write to us at info@dollopmag.com and we'll tell you where to find one.
Customs and local charges (FIND YOUR COUNTRY BELOW)
For most destinations there is nothing to pay on delivery. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. Where that isn't true, we've said so plainly below, because we'd rather tell you now than have you meet a courier with an invoice. If you live in a country that needs a tax ID number you will be contacted to provide so that we can clear your order through customs.
United Kingdom — nothing to pay, at any order size. Books and magazines carry no UK VAT and no customs duty.
Switzerland — nothing to pay on orders of up to four (4) copies. Swiss customs does not raise charges below CHF 193 including postage. Orders of five or more copies cross that line and may attract around CHF 18 on delivery, most of which is Swiss Post's clearance fee rather than tax. If you order five or more we'll email you first.
Japan and Mexico — One copy will clear customs without charge. Larger orders may attract local import tax.
Hong Kong, Argentina, New Zealand, Australia — orders of 1-5 copies normally arrive with nothing to pay. Import rules are set by each country and can change without notice, and any charges that do arise are the recipient's responsibility.
Dispatch and delivery
Orders are dispatched as soon as possible, but as we are a one person team there are occasionally travel related delays. If there is a longer than average wait time we will contact you with an estimated date of shipping. We send a tracking number as soon as your parcel is on its way.
Delivery usually takes 5 business days within the US. Internationally, customs processing can add time and is outside our control although we have been seeing times of approximately 3 days to 3 weeks depending on destination.
Addresses
Please check your address carefully at checkout. We can't redirect a parcel once it's been dispatched. If a parcel is returned to us because the address was wrong or incomplete, we'll happily resend it once return postage has been covered.
Damaged or lost orders
If your copy arrives damaged, email us at info@dollopmag.com within 14 days with a photograph and we'll send a replacement.
If tracking shows no movement for a week or more, get in touch and we will look into it.
Returns
Magazines are exempt from the standard fourteen-day cancellation right under UK and EU consumer regulations, so all sales are final except where an order arrives damaged or fails to arrive at all. If something has gone wrong, write to us — we'd always rather fix it when possible.
Bookshops and stockists
We'd love to be in your shop. Trade terms are 50% of cover price, firm sale, with a minimum order of five copies. Write to info@dollopmag.com and we'll send a copy and our terms.
